James Cluer Selects gives you a shopping list of the best wines to buy. Each month I recommend at least 20 excellent quality wines that you can go out and buy. We always recommend wines costing under $20, and others that are more expensive and worth cellaring. This is your shopping list!

Our system of selecting wines is very different from others. We evaluate every single wine available within a category and then select the winners. For example, I will buy every single Australian Shiraz in the market at BC liquor stores. Next I comparatively blind taste them all, with an expert panel, and then select the winners - the Best in Class.

This system of comparative blind tasting allows me to confidently recommend the best wines for you to buy. Other wine critics don’t judge wines like this because of the investment required to buy every single wine available in a category. We evaluate about 3-4 categories per month, and then compliment it with the names of a few other stunning wines that we have tasted in our daily work.

Subscription costs just $4.99 per month. You can cancel anytime. All wines come from the BC liquor stores and precise information is given on how to buy them. If you live elsewhere, most of the wines should be still available. The publication is emailed to you during the 1st week of the following month.
