Fine Vintage is the leading provider of wine education in Canada and the USA. We offer the WSET courses, which are professional qualifications in wine with international recognition. If you want to learn about wine, for business or pleasure, then these internationally recognized wine courses are perfect.
The Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET) was established in London in 1969 and currently offers their prestigious wine courses in over 55 countries and 16 languages. The UK-based WSET courses are considered to be the gold standard in wine education.
Fine Vintage offers a series of WSET courses for the beginner and the expert in Vancouver, Toronto, Calgary, Edmonton, Victoria, Kelowna, Penticton, Montreal, Las Vegas, San Francisco, Napa Valley, San Diego and Tuscany. The series includes the Level 1 Award in Wines, Level 2 Award in Wines and Spirits and Level 3 Award in Wines and Spirits.

Why take a wine course from Fine Vintage? In addition to being awarded The Riedel Trophy for WSET Educator of the Year from amongst 500 schools worldwide, our courses are also endorsed by The University of British Columbia.
Our instructors are amongst the most qualified in the industry. We are well known for the high quality of the wines we show in the tastings, as well as the sheer number of wines. Furthermore, we offer our courses in the same timeframes as the WSET in London. Unlike some other schools, we don’t cut corners on the tastings or the instruction hours.
What about the WSET exam? At the end of each WSET wine course there is an exam. Upon successful completion you will be sent a Certificate from the WSET in the UK which represents a formal qualification in wine. We will prepare you for these exams and have a very high pass rate. Our pass rate for the Foundation is 98%, for the Intermediate is 97%, and the Advanced is averaged at 85%. Upon completion of the WSET Advanced students can use the title "WSET Certified".
Who takes our courses? Our wine courses are appropriate for general interest wine enthusiasts as well as the trade. These typically include wine importers, agents, sales representatives, servers, sommeliers, retail store staff, and even winemakers and grape growers. At least 50% of all people are taking the courses for general interest.
