& Get Your WSET Level 1 Certification.
Come and experience two engaging evenings learning about the world of spirits. The WSET Level 1 in Spirits is the perfect starting point for anyone who wants to understand how the world’s great spirits are made, what they taste like, and how to serve them.
You will taste 10 benchmark spirits over the course, covering the main categories — whisky, brandy, rum, tequila, gin, vodka, and liqueurs. We explain how spirits are produced, take you on a tour of the key regions, and teach you how to evaluate a spirit using the WSET Systematic Approach to Tasting Spirits® (SAT). This will dramatically increase your confidence when choosing, serving, and discussing spirits.
The course runs over two 3-hour sessions. You will be taught by Charlene Rooke, one of Canada’s foremost spirits educators. There are no prerequisites. We welcome all spirits lovers. When you register you will automatically receive the study guide so you can start right away.
For the WSET exam, you can schedule your 30 question multiple choice test anytime that suits you after the end of the course. You will take it online by remote invigilation. Upon successful completion you will receive your digital WSET certificate within 2–3 weeks.
