The region is famed for its elegant Grüner Veltliner and Riesling, shaped by a cool climate and ancient soils.

Some of Austria’s most esteemed wineries call the Wachau home. F.X. Pichler is known for powerful, expressive single-vineyard wines, while Weingut Emmerich Knoll pairs rich tradition with iconic labels and a refined style.

TESTIMONIALS

Truly once in a lifetime experience

“Visiting Spain impressed us on absolutely every level. It is a country that not only produces quality wine, it has the culinary merit to match alongside a stunning countryside making it a very desirable destination for wine, food, and art aficionados alike. Without question, Fine Vintage’s tour elevated our experience to a level we simply would not have been able to achieve on our own. Exclusive winery access, excellent food pairings, first-rate accommodation, and the incredible depth of knowledge of our guides resulted in a truly once in a lifetime experience.”

ALLISON WALLACE, VANCOUVER, BC
Redefined “fun” for me!

“When I first met James and he told me he did wine tours, I thought it might be fun to go with someone who is as knowledgeable as he is. Then I signed up for Spain… and he redefined “fun” for me… we tasted, we nosed, we swirled, we danced, we sang, and we ATE… and along the way, somewhere between the fabulous hotels and the awe-inspiring vineyards and the heady aromas in the cellars, we became compadres of the grape, students of the moment, and lovers of those things that happen when it’s a carefree time in our lives. Take a tour with James…you will never be the same…”
