AMERICAN WINE 101

This course is a fantastic introduction to the major and minor wine regions in America. You will taste 16 benchmark wines that exemplify the high quality and great diversity of American wine. Each of the main wine-producing states are showcased as well as the signature varietals.

Our America Wine 101 course was developed by James Cluer, Master of Wine, and a team of experts who specialize in the American wine industry. There is no exam, so it is just a fun day out tasting and learning about the USA.

In the last 20 years the growth rate has been nothing short of staggering. The wines can be outstanding. To help you prepare for the course you will receive a 30 page PDF booklet all about American wines as soon as you register.

Our classes are limited to 24 wine lovers, and they are always delivered in a warm and friendly atmosphere in a comfortable venue. It’s the Fine Vintage difference.

TESTIMONIALS

GARRET MCDONNALD
I was always so confused by all the different wine regions, grapes, and labels in France but I love French wines. This course made sense of it all and taught me the about the most important wines and we tasted some amazing ones! I highly recommend this course to anyone interested in France and it is especially useful if you are about to do the WSET level 3.
